I recently had a delightful stay at a lovely hotel near the airport in Sri Lanka. The staff were incredibly friendly and the service was top-notch. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, with separate bathrooms and AC. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast spread each morning. Additionally, the hotel's location was convenient, with a short walk to a section of the beach.

No major issues, everything was satisfactory.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating, offering transportation and organizing transfers to the airport. The dinner provided was delicious and the room was clean and spacious. We felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay.

The hotel had two key facts offered that were good to have: one was the shuttle service that picked us up at the airport and the other was the breakfast, which was very tasty. The location was also a plus, as it was close to the beach and some nice restaurants within walking distance. Being able to take a nice walk by the beach in the morning was a nice way to start the day.

Our experience was not all great. During our stay, there were a lot of mosquitoes in our room and we were not provided with mosquito nets.

The location is a bit remote from the main town making it challenging to get around without hiring transportation. Walking in Sri Lanka can be tricky, especially during the hot weather.

Sayo Villa offers great value for money. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, arranging airport transfers and even altering them when our flight was delayed. They provided helpful recommendations for things to do and organized affordable transportation options. The food was delicious, especially the curry and rice. The rooms were clean and spacious, with working air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, making it a perfect base for exploring the area.

No improvements needed; everything was satisfactory.
